Scope and contact

This draft describes the static portfolio and its intended Cloudflare hosting. For privacy questions or rights requests, email devzerviate@proton.me. The controller's complete identity and address remain outstanding, as noted above.

Hosting and technical request data

Cloudflare provides the hosting and domain services. When the hosted site is accessed, Cloudflare may process IP addresses, request times and URLs, browser information, response codes and security-related request data to deliver the site, troubleshoot failures and protect it from abuse. The intended legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR: the legitimate interest in a reliable and secure website.

Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA, and its service providers may process data outside the EEA. Cloudflare's Data Processing Addendum describes processor obligations and international-transfer safeguards, including standard contractual clauses. The agreement and safeguards applicable to the actual account must be confirmed. See also Cloudflare's privacy policy.

The final hostname, enabled Cloudflare features, log access and retention periods have not yet been documented. No specific deletion period or completed processing agreement is asserted here; these details must be checked against the production settings.

Local settings and browser features

The application does not set cookies, use analytics or advertising trackers, or embed third-party players. Fonts, images and scripts are served locally with the site. Viewing the covers does not contact TMDB, IGDB or Pinterest. Hosting-provider features must be reviewed separately before launch.

Only when you switch the theme, the choice is saved in your browser under jr-portfolio:theme. It stays until you clear the site's local storage and is not transmitted by the application. This storage implements the appearance preference you explicitly request; the intended exemption is § 25(2)(2) TDDDG. Theme switching still works for the current page if storage is unavailable.

The CV PDF is generated on your device without uploading its contents. Copying the contact address writes to your clipboard only after you press the copy button; the site does not read your clipboard.

Email and external links

If you email me, I process your address, message and any details you choose to include to respond. My mailbox is provided by Proton AG in Switzerland; your own email provider also handles the message. Depending on the request, the basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual correspondence or Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for responding to other inquiries. See Proton's privacy policy.

Correspondence is kept only as long as needed to handle the inquiry and any applicable legal retention obligations. The final mailbox retention practice must be documented before publication. Providing information is voluntary, but I need a reply address and enough context to answer.

External links open independently operated services. Their privacy notices apply after you navigate there. This site requests that browsers omit the referring page's URL.

Your rights

Subject to the GDPR's conditions, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction and data portability (Articles 15–20). Under Article 21, you may object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your situation. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it for the future.

You may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority under Article 77, including the Brandenburg data protection authority. The application makes no automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects.
